At Post Falls Music Academy, we’ve seen it time and time again: a student walks through our doors, excited but a little nervous, ready for their very first music lesson. Those first notes might be a little wobbly, but they’re the beginning of something truly special!
At PFMA, we believe music lessons are about so much more than learning to play an instrument. They’re
about helping children develop skills that will last a lifetime.
Patience: Learning an instrument takes time! Whether it’s mastering a tricky piano passage or learning
a new guitar chord, our students discover that progress happens one small step at a time.
Discipline: Showing up for weekly lessons and practicing at home teaches children the value of commitment. Even when something feels difficult, they learn that consistency and effort lead to amazing results!
Confidence: One of our favorite things at PFMA is watching students grow in confidence! Through our
Musical Ladder achievement program, students celebrate their progress as they reach new levels.
And there’s nothing quite like seeing a student proudly perform at one of our recitals!
We know there will be times when your child doesn’t feel like practicing or wants to give up. That’s normal!
But those moments are also opportunities to learn perseverance, overcome challenges, and discover
just how capable they really are.
At Post Falls Music Academy, we’re not just teaching music. We’re helping raise confident, capable,
and resilient young people—one lesson at a time.
So keep encouraging your young musician, celebrate those Musical Ladder achievements, and enjoy
watching their confidence grow. The rewards of sticking with music lessons go far beyond the music itself!
Every note matters. Every milestone counts. And every child has the potential to shine!
